Review: LUSH's Shine So Bright Hair Treatment.

Hi there,

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure why I haven't already written this blog post...but better late than never.

Around Christmas time, I went a little bit crazy over the LUSH Christmas stock, so much that I still have a couple of 'Father Christmas Bath Ballistics' floating around my bathroom. Anyway, whilst picking out some of my favorites from the Christmas collection(on the website) I also decided to have a quick nosy around the hair treatments section. Nothing really stood out to me, until I saw a very over enthusiastic comment written under the 'LUSH Shine So Bright Split End Treatment'. It was only ten NZ dollars and this woman had claimed that it was some sort of holy grail miracle product, so I thought 'Meh, why not'.

When It arrived, I was shocked. It was the teeniest tiniest thing I had ever seen! And I instantly thought I had just wasted my money...but boy was I wrong! This product is incredible! I don't use it everyday, only when the ends of my hair are looking really dry and crispy. The smallest amount goes such a long way and I seriously can't believe how long it's lasted me. I've even gone out and bought a back up just in case I loose my first one.

If you have really dry and damaged hair, PLEASE try out this product! I have been swearing by it for so long now, so LUSH....please don't ever discontinue it. Thanks!

Mine is looking a bit rank now...it's just well loved.

Has anyone else tried it and LOVED it? Or ever tried it and hated it?

England and Singapore Adventures- The Vlogs!

Hello there!

As you may know, me and my family recently came home from our exciting holiday in Singapore AND England! If you didn't, I've written a whole blog post about it HERE if you want to go and give that a read. But today I have for you....THE VLOGS!

Before we left I knew I wanted to vlog our holiday, only because instead of 'traditionally' taking photos I thought taking videos would be something a bit different; And for me personally I feel that in 10, 20 or even 50 years time, looking back on a video instead of photos would be a lot more real and enjoyable. I've shown my family the vlogs and they all LOVE the idea! I definitely think it's something more and more people are going to start doing. But without further a due...here are my England and Singapore Vlogs! :)

ENJOY!

Health and Fitness #7: Holiday Lifestyle.

Hey, hey, hey!

So as some of you may know, I've just got back from my AMAZING holiday in Singapore and England. You can read all about it in THIS blog post.

When you're on holiday, I feel as though you're almost obliged to eat crap. You're trying new cultural foods, constantly going out to eat with friends and family, and every time you say "Oh, sorry I can't eat that..I'm on a diet", the only response you will ever get is "Who cares, you're on holiday".

Basically, what I'm trying to say is....in the three week space that I was on holiday, I probably ate the same amount of food that I consumed in the entirety of 2012. So I guess you could say my diet wasn't exactly 'going well'. But now that I'm back, I've got a fresh start and I'm ready to get back on track. I am going to miss all the pizza's though....not so much the pizza hangovers. Yes, a pizza hangover is a thing. Click on THIS to see ;)

I think that's all I really have to say? Just remember, if you're on holiday and you're on a diet, It's okay to splurge....I mean who cares, you're on holiday ;)

OH ALSO! I got a new Tumblr account! So you can follow me HERE! :)

I feel like this blog post is just full of plugs....sorry!

A Pop Of Color: Ombre.

Hello everyone!

As some of you know, for quite a while now I've been in constant battle with my hair! Although thankfully I've recently been able to tame it by getting it permanently straightened. But one other major flaws in my hair is what I like to call my 'Reverse Ombre'. What the heck is 'Reverse Ombre' you might ask? Well about two years ago now I made the courageous decision to dye my hair for the first time. My natural hair color is dark blonde/mousy brown, but I wanted a change....so I decided to dye my hair dark brown.
I quite liked it at first but little did I know what a giant pain in the butt it was going to be.

Personally, I feel that when girls with naturally brunette hair dye it blonde, their re growth doesn't start to look bad for a good while; but when girls who have naturally blonde hair dye it brunette, their re growth looks HORRIBLE! I feel like it almost looks like you have little grey/white hairs sprouting as the blonde re growth looks so light next to the dark brown, plus it feel like it takes FOREVER to grow back out.

At the moment my hair doesn't look too bad. My re growth has grown about 4-5 inches but it doesn't look nearly as bad as it once was as it's slowly blending into the brown(dyed) ends of my hair. Although when I'm out and about in the sun, it is quite noticeable.

So getting to the point...
I went out and bought a DIY Ombre kit which I've herd a lot of good reviews on recently, in the hope that if I'm feeling courageous again, I might dye the ends of my hair blonde. Just so I'm able to create a mousy brown to blonde Ombre instead of the mousy brown to dark brown 'reverse Ombre' I've got going on at the moment.

Also one more thing I wanted to add. Lately, floating around the internet I've seen the trend of 'Colored Ombre' which I'm sure many of you would have already seen too. It's almost like a dip dye. Basically it's when you add a 'Non Human' or 'Unnatural' colored dye to the lower lengths of your hair. And I'm LOVING it! It's so tempting! Although I'm not sure my hair could withhold that amount of dye, especially after having the ends lightened.

If I do end up dying my hair, I'll be sure to write a review on the box kit etc.

Has anyone else reading this added a crazy color to the ends of their hair before?

Is there anyone home?

Hello everyone!

So It's been a while...Three weeks or so? *Smacks wrist* Sorry!

If you didn't know I've just got back from England. I decided not to blog while I was over there as most of the holiday consisted of running round the UK meeting up with friends and family members, and I just found it so hard to make any time to sit down and write a blog post. But I'm back!

So what have I been up to whist frantically running round the UK? Lets break it down.

- Firstly we had a seven hour stop in Singapore, which was AMAZING! It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to before. Also, one of the hottest! We were literally running from place to place so we could see as many things as possible, and I'd say we did pretty well.

-I watched Divergent on the plane, and its definitely of the best movies I've seen in a while.

- Next, we finally made it to the UK. The majority of the holiday was spend around Shropshire where we were staying with my Nan, although we did spend about a week or so traveling round to places like London, Manchester(Where I'd never been before and loved!), Hertfordshire(Where I spent half of my childhood growing up), and Brighton(Where I spent the other half of my childhood growing up).

- We celebrated my Nan's 80th birthday! This was definitely one of the highlights of my holiday as the whole family got together and it was just a weekend full of laughs.

- I went on my first ever roller coaster at Drayton Manor. Whoop whoop!

- I put myself into multiple food comas, after devouring buckets full of English sweets.

- I vlogged SO MUCH while I was over there! So when I mange to string all the videos together I'll make sure I put it on my blog.

- And finally, the most exciting part. I've made the decision to move over to England as soon as I've saved enough money...which will probably be next year. Yeeeeeeah Baaaaby!

So that's pretty much everything...

Beautiful Singapore!

Now that I'm back I'll make sure to keep blogging regularly, and maybe even start posting a few videos?

Miley Made Me Do It...

Hello there,

Now usually, I'm never the person to be well, 'Materialistic'. But what can I say....I've had a moment of weakness.

For a while now, the EOS lip balms have been EVERYWHERE! They're said to be 'One of the best lip balms around' and every beauty blogger/vlogger has talked about them at some point. Now its my turn.

The lip balm comes in super cute packaging, smells amazing, and it keeps your lips supple and smooth. Plus its so easy to find in your purse, I'm not really sure why? Maybe the shape? But my favorite thing about it, is that in no way is it greasy or gloopy, like other lip balms I've tried. Personally I think that the only bad thing about it, is once it starts running out it can be a bit of a pain to apply to your lips.

Anyway what I really wanted to talk about in this post is a celebrity's influence on us, when it comes to products they're advertising. I'm not usually the kind of person to take an interest in anything that celebrities advertise, although after watching Miley Cyrus's 'We Can't Stop' music video I couldn't help but give in to the quirkiness of the amazing EOS lip balms. I can't really explain why I was so intrigued by them, but I was and....I ended up buying four. Ooops!

Does anyone else ever give into celebrity advertisement or even a super hyped up product?

Your Tea- Tiny Tea Teatox: Review.

Hello there!

Sorry it's taken so long, but FINALLY...here is my review on the 'Tiny Tea Teatox'.

Just over a month ago I received my beautifully packaged 28 day Teatox in the mail. After hearing so many positive reviews on it, I had to give it a go. All I can say is WOW!
It's amazing! Not only does it taste great but it did everything it claimed it would do...and more!

After the first few days of drinking it(Three a day/One after every meal) I saw and felt countless improvements in my body, and by the end of the 28 days I couldn't believe how well it had worked. I can honestly say 'Your Tea' impressed me more than any other purchase I've made, in which I had high expectations for.

After the 28 days were up, these were the improvements that I'd noticed:

- Eased my bloating dramatically!
- Cleared up my skin.
- Gave the impression of strong and healthy hair.
- A LOT more energy.
- Felt fuller for longer.
- I lost 4 pounds.

I must re-purchase this tea very soon! I'm feeling lost without it...My normal green tea just isn't cutting it.

If you're looking for something to ease your bloating, clear up your skin, boost up your energy levels or help you drop a few pounds, I couldn't recommend this tea enough. It's truly incredible!

Just a disclaimer, this post was not sponsored by 'Your Tea', I just love it that much.

Has anyone else tried the 28 day Tiny Teatox?
