All Hallows' Eve

Hello Everyone!

It's finally that time of year! Halloween!

Growing up in the UK, Christmas was always my favorite holiday. Christmas dinners, Snow, Robbins, Hot Chocolate, Conkers. And just the general feeling that Christmas was approaching.
But since moving down under, Halloween has definitely stolen the number one spot. The main reason being, I still can't get over the fact that it's searing hot when you wake up on Christmas morning. Also, New Zealand isn't the most festive of countrys. They don't even sell hideous Christmas jumpers! Probably because of the 'Searing Hot' Weather, but still! So because of that Halloween has definitely become my favorite holiday.

Again, New Zealand isn't the most festive of countrys, so even on Halloween it's a struggle just to find a decent costume. But that doesn't stop us.

This year me and mum spent the day decorating the house, baking scary food and of course...watching scary films!
Later in the evening my brother also invited a few of his friends, and we ended up setting off a bunch of 'faulty' Fireworks...Which ended up being quite funny.
All in all, it was a good/creepy night which we will definitely have to repeat next year!

What did you do for Halloween this year? Or what's something you'd love to do for Halloween? One year, I'd love to spend the 31st of October in Mexico celebrating the Day Of The Dead! I can imagine  that it would be absolutely breathtaking.

England and Singapore Adventures- The Vlogs!

Hello there!

As you may know, me and my family recently came home from our exciting holiday in Singapore AND England! If you didn't, I've written a whole blog post about it HERE if you want to go and give that a read. But today I have for you....THE VLOGS!

Before we left I knew I wanted to vlog our holiday, only because instead of 'traditionally' taking photos I thought taking videos would be something a bit different; And for me personally I feel that in 10, 20 or even 50 years time, looking back on a video instead of photos would be a lot more real and enjoyable. I've shown my family the vlogs and they all LOVE the idea! I definitely think it's something more and more people are going to start doing. But without further a due...here are my England and Singapore Vlogs! :)

ENJOY!

Health and Fitness #7: Holiday Lifestyle.

Hey, hey, hey!

So as some of you may know, I've just got back from my AMAZING holiday in Singapore and England. You can read all about it in THIS blog post.

When you're on holiday, I feel as though you're almost obliged to eat crap. You're trying new cultural foods, constantly going out to eat with friends and family, and every time you say "Oh, sorry I can't eat that..I'm on a diet", the only response you will ever get is "Who cares, you're on holiday".

Basically, what I'm trying to say is....in the three week space that I was on holiday, I probably ate the same amount of food that I consumed in the entirety of 2012. So I guess you could say my diet wasn't exactly 'going well'. But now that I'm back, I've got a fresh start and I'm ready to get back on track. I am going to miss all the pizza's though....not so much the pizza hangovers. Yes, a pizza hangover is a thing. Click on THIS to see ;)

I think that's all I really have to say? Just remember, if you're on holiday and you're on a diet, It's okay to splurge....I mean who cares, you're on holiday ;)

OH ALSO! I got a new Tumblr account! So you can follow me HERE! :)

I feel like this blog post is just full of plugs....sorry!

Is there anyone home?

Hello everyone!

So It's been a while...Three weeks or so? *Smacks wrist* Sorry!

If you didn't know I've just got back from England. I decided not to blog while I was over there as most of the holiday consisted of running round the UK meeting up with friends and family members, and I just found it so hard to make any time to sit down and write a blog post. But I'm back!

So what have I been up to whist frantically running round the UK? Lets break it down.

- Firstly we had a seven hour stop in Singapore, which was AMAZING! It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to before. Also, one of the hottest! We were literally running from place to place so we could see as many things as possible, and I'd say we did pretty well.

-I watched Divergent on the plane, and its definitely of the best movies I've seen in a while.

- Next, we finally made it to the UK. The majority of the holiday was spend around Shropshire where we were staying with my Nan, although we did spend about a week or so traveling round to places like London, Manchester(Where I'd never been before and loved!), Hertfordshire(Where I spent half of my childhood growing up), and Brighton(Where I spent the other half of my childhood growing up).

- We celebrated my Nan's 80th birthday! This was definitely one of the highlights of my holiday as the whole family got together and it was just a weekend full of laughs.

- I went on my first ever roller coaster at Drayton Manor. Whoop whoop!

- I put myself into multiple food comas, after devouring buckets full of English sweets.

- I vlogged SO MUCH while I was over there! So when I mange to string all the videos together I'll make sure I put it on my blog.

- And finally, the most exciting part. I've made the decision to move over to England as soon as I've saved enough money...which will probably be next year. Yeeeeeeah Baaaaby!

So that's pretty much everything...

Beautiful Singapore!

Now that I'm back I'll make sure to keep blogging regularly, and maybe even start posting a few videos?
