Candy Yum Yum: Drugstore Dupe

Hello!

So, if you're a fan of the ever so famous Mac lipsticks, particularly Candy yum yum, you're in luck!

About a year ago, I took a trip to the UK, otherwise know as the land of insanely cheap makeup!
I'm sure to the people living over there It's not that cheap, but try coming over here! Wowee, the makeup is expensive! Even from the drugstore!
 I went on a bit of a rampage whilst I was over there, and came back with about half a suitcase full of makeup. So what Sarah? Get to the point! Okay, okay!

The other day I was snooping around my makeup collection, finding new things that could definitely use a bit more love. And there it was! The Barry M Lipstick in No. 52 'Shocking Pink'!
 So what? you may ask. Well, this particular Barry M lipstick happens to be the spitting image of Mac's much pricier Candy Yum Yum. 

This lipstick is amazing! Not only is the colour spot on, but it's also matte like Candy yum yum, the staying power is just as good, and it's only a fraction of the price. So If you're into your Mac Lippies, or Barbie Pinks, I'd highly recommend you try this out!

FOTD: Orange, Orange, Orange!

Hello Everyone!

I'm quite enjoying orange at the moment, which might explain my face...

I've never done a FOTD before, but better late than never right?

The main focus for this FOTD is the eyes and lips. OMG I'm loving orange at the moment, if you couldn't already tell. For about a year now I've had a beautiful copper/orange eye shadow sitting at the back of my make up draw just screaming out to be used, but I've never really liked the idea of orange around the eyes...until now! I was watching an old video of Shannon's aka Shaaanxo and she was rocking copper eyes! So I though "Meh, why not give it a go?" and I really like it!

Current Favorite Lipstick.

Hello everyone!

It feels like ages since I've written a proper 'beauty' related blog post, so why not write one now.

A few months ago, when me and my mum went shopping, My mum picked up the 'L'Oreal Color Riche Serum Lipstick in Radiant Orange'. Since then she hasn't really been into using it as bold lips aren't really something my mum feels comfortable wearing, and she thought the lipstick was much more subtle. So of course I took the opportunity to try it for myself. And oh wow, I LOVE it! 

It's what I would describe as a 'Dark Frosty Orange', which wouldn't usually grab my attention, but it is so beautiful and moisturizing on the lips. It's also very unique. I've never seen a lip color quite like it. The only bad thing i really have to say about it, is that it smells pretty bad; almost like the type of make up your grandma would wear...if you know what i mean? 

Like my mum, if you're not into bold lips I probably wouldn't recommend it....but if you're looking for a new staple bold lip...preferably for winter, I'd definitely suggest trying it out.
