New Addition to The Family #2

Hello everyone!

Oh my gosh, today is an exciting day!

WE GOT A PUG!

Isn't he just so cute! Like I said in the video we got him because our older dog Cookie just seemed kind of lonely and sad. At first she really wasn't sure, but they seem to be getting along now.

I'm so thankful that we have have another amazing addition to our little family. Felix is so full of energy and life; I cant wait to start creating new and amazing memories with this little guy, which I'll be sure to share with you!

I hope you're all having an amazing day!

Life Things

Hello everyone!

I know, I know...I haven't posted in a while. Sorry!
It's been a pretty hectic few months, with moving out, starting university and trying to get my anxiety sorted. Everything just slowly piled up which has made things pretty hard. But hey, everyone goes through this stuff, so I shouldn't' be moaning. If you want to hear more about where I've been, watch this video:

It feels so good to be back at it again! I mean I haven't sorted out everything in my life just yet, but I have faith that things will slowly start to fall back into place. I have so many ideas for my blog and YouTube channel which is exciting, and I can't wait to share them! But until then, I hope you have an amazing day and thank you for reading this post :)

FOTD: Orange, Orange, Orange!

Hello Everyone!

I'm quite enjoying orange at the moment, which might explain my face...

I've never done a FOTD before, but better late than never right?
The main focus for this FOTD is the eyes and lips. OMG I'm loving orange at the moment, if you couldn't already tell. For about a year now I've had a beautiful copper/orange eye shadow sitting at the back of my make up draw just screaming out to be used, but I've never really liked the idea of orange around the eyes...until now! I was watching an old video of Shannon's aka Shaaanxo and she was rocking copper eyes! So I though "Meh, why not give it a go?" and I really like it!

What do you think?

Face
Not that interesting as I forgot to put on bronzer, blush AND a highlight....what a noob.
Maybelline Baby Skin Primer

Toni&Guy Sea Salt Texturising Spray: Review

Hello everyone!

Before I start I will just say, Yes...I am very late to the party when it comes to salt sprays. Sorry.

This summer I've really been enjoying salt sprays. In the summer I feel the need to stay well away from styling tools, just because you'll have a lot more heat on your hair appose to in the winter...Obviously. Which is why I use salt sprays.

The salt spray that I've really been enjoying is the 'Toni&Guy Sea Salt Texturising Spray'. I absolutely love the effect it gives! It makes your hair look messy, beachy and it gives it so much texture. It is so quick and easy to do! You literally just spray it in dry, give it a scrunch and you're good to go.
Another thing I love about this particular salt spray is that It doesn't make your hair feel crunchy, which I find quite a few salt sprays do.

If you're looking for a new salt spray I'd highly recommend this one! I know a lot of people rave about the 'Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray' but the price is eye watering! Toni&Guy are so much more affordable and their products get the job done.

Is anyone else loving the messy, beachy waves in summer?

Christmas and New Years

Hello Everyone!

I'm going to keep this blog post short and sweet, only because I have a ridiculously large amount of photos to go with it.

Christmas was amazing this year! We spent Christmas eve and Christmas morning with my sister and her fiance. Opening stockings, playing silly games and drinking the sweetest hot chocolate I've ever tasted! Which probably wasn't the best thing to have at 7:00am.

After spending the morning at my sisters, me, my mum, and Tom all made our way back home to relax and give out the last of our presents. It turned out to be a really good day and I got some lovely gifts!

New Years was a bit different. As my brother is the only person in the house who actually has a life, he decided to go out to a New Years Eve party, while me and my mum sat at home eating chocolate and watching YouTube....Oh what exciting lives we lead.
In all honesty though, it was quite nice to just stay in and relax on New Years for a change. I'll save the raging parties for next year.

OH!! How could I forget! 1 year ago today I wrote my first ever blog post! Woohoo! Thank you so much if you read my blog, it does mean a lot to me! So here's to another year of weird, random and occasionally insightful blog posts!

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and New Year!
Now here are some photos of what we got up to...ENJOY!

Christmas Is Coming

IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS!

Hello Everyone!

Although I am a big fan of Halloween, Christmas is always my favorite time of the year! Except for the fact that here in New Zealand it's boiling hot on Christmas day! It just feels wrong, you know? Christmas is 'stereotypically' filled with things like Snowmen, Christmas Robins, Bobble Hats and Scarves, Hot Chocolate by the fire, and of course the tacky Christmas Jumpers. But here in New Zealand, It's slightly different. It's about wearing minimal clothing to stay cool, cooking Christmas dinner on the BBQ outside, and building snowmen out of sand on the beach. I still find it bizarre, but hey...each to their own.

As it's getting closer to the big day, I though I'd take a few snaps around our house to show you how beautifully mum has decorated this year. Plus some bonus photos from when me and my brother filmed my Christmas video, which I'll also link below.

I'll be sure to take lots of photos on Christmas day as well!

Mum saw this on Pinterest. It's our Advent Calender this year.

Oh.

I hope everyone has an amazing Christmas!

Where Are You Summer?

Hello everyone!

Usually, I'm definitely more of a winter person. I love layering clothes, drinking hot chocolate, keeping warm by the fire, and snuggling under a duvet to watch movies. But this year, I'm weirdly excited that it's summer. The only problem is, it's a bit late to the party.

We've had one of the coldest winter this year, not that I have any problem with that. So everyone was really looking forward to summer finally coming around. I just hasn't yet. Instead, we've had torrential rain, massive hail stones, a dark grey sky, and insane flooding! Honestly the flooding has been unreal! The cows down the road were practically swimming.

I'm hoping summer makes an appearance soon, for the cows sake.
